Everyone loves jello Shots. They’re colorful and fun and will add a kick to any party. No one does jello shots better than Manhattanbabe.com’s travel guru, Elizabeth McMachan. She made 1200 jello shots for a winter gathering of friends and family at her home in Greenwich Ct. She recommends trying red, green, blue and yellow jello shots for the holidays. You can serve it right along with the egg nog. It’s sure to be a big hit!
For her winter parties, she recommends serving jello shots early in the evening and finishing with Irish or Maine Coffees!
One of her favorite recipes is cider jello shots! These are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Fireball Jello Shots
- 1 c. apple cider
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1 c. Fireball whisky
- whipped cream, for garnish
- Cinnamon, for garnish
- Apple slices, for garnish
- In a small saucepan, add apple cider and lemon juice. Sprinkle over gelatin and let bloom, about 5 minutes.
- Place pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve gelatin. Stir in Fireball and remove from heat.
- Pour into shot glasses and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and an apple slice.
